We have a wonderful weekend. Beautiful sunny, warm weather. It was a bit windy on Saturday, but nothing too bad. On Saturday morning we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at the Elementary School up the road. It was really nice. The kids were divided up by age. Sean's group was 3 and under. He did surprisingly well. I didn't think he would understand what to do, but he would walk right over to the egg, pick it up and hand it to me. Then he'd walk to another egg, hand it to me and go onto the next one. He got a total of 7. Pretty good for a one-year old. He also wasn't scared of the Easter Bunny (like I thought he may be), he was waving and pointing when he made his appearance. On Sunday we went to church and went for a walk and played outside for a couple hours. Sean's only problem with playing outside is coming in. He HATES it when it is time to come in...screams and cries, it isn't fun. Usually we have to wait until a snack/meal time and trick him to get him to come. As you all know...he likes his food. He also said 'Lili' this weekend, it came out a little garbled, but you could understand that that is what he was trying to say. Also, his new favorite word is 'car'. He points at every car on the street and says 'car'. He saw his Cars shirt on the table, pointed and (you guessed it) said 'car'. I know that may seem kind of boring to you, but it is amazing how much he is capable of learning so quickly.
Lili is just as sweet as ever. She has been sleeping through the night for a few nights now. I actually got a full 8 hours of sleep last night. Yippee! She's a doll, starting to smile and she even laughed out loud last week. It was great. She is a laid back, quiet baby.
Without further adieu, here are the pictures from this weekend:

My parents house in Michigan...apparently, Global
Warming doesn't exist there. (taken 4/6/09)
I am not sure why this picture is sideways

One of Lili's less happy moods

And he's off!

He found one (okay, he found like seven)!

I kind of decapitated the Easter Bunny...oops

I'm not sure Sean liked the bunny up close

Sean was more interested in his donut than
the Easter Bunny

Sean had some crazy hair this weekend

"It seemed like a good idea at the time"
