We had a very packed 4 day weekend...visions of a relaxing weekend went out the window very quickly with 2 little kids. We started off our Christmas Eve celebration going to Valley View Farms to look at the decorated trees. We then went to Andy Nelson's where Sean and Lili managed to eat 1/2 of my chicken sandwich, in addition to BBQ potato wedges, children's pizza and 2 oreo cookies! I guess we have a couple kids that are going through a growth spurt. :) We went home for naptime and to get ready for Christmas Eve service at church. After church we took the kids for a walk to look at the Christmas lights, then back to the house to leave cookies for Santa and open one gift.
Christmas was just as busy, we got up, opened presents, played with presents...played with presents...played with presents...fought over presents...etc. Uncle Clay and Aunt Mary came over to see the kids before heading over to Aunt Christy's for Christmas dinner. True to form, the kids were spoiled and fussed over there too. After a late dinner, we took the kids home and tucked them in. More presents on Saturday, stockings for the kids on Sunday and we were finally done with Christmas. The kids had a great time!
Other notable news: Sean finally gave up the binky...he keeps telling me that "binky went bye-bye". Lili cut her first tooth on Christmas Eve and she turns one tomorrow.
